Energy
Energy is GOVERN’s unified governance health signal. It aggregates assessment scores, violation rates, and remediation velocity into a single 0–100 number that tells you — at a glance — whether your governance posture is strengthening or weakening.
How energy is calculated
Energy is calculated from three dimensions:
- Assessment health — the rolling average assessment score across all systems
- Violation rate — violations per 1,000 assessments, normalized against your configured baseline
- Remediation velocity — the average time to close open remediations versus your SLA targets
A healthy organization scores above 80. Below 60 is a governance risk signal. Below 40 requires immediate attention.
Energy at different scopes
Energy is calculated at three levels:
- Organization — the top-level energy score visible on the main dashboard
- Team — per business unit or team
- System — per registered AI system
Drill down from the organization view to identify which systems or teams are contributing most to energy loss.
Energy trends
The Trends view shows energy over time. A steadily declining energy line means violations are accumulating faster than they are being resolved. A rising energy line means remediation is outpacing new violations.
